Book Fair Thanks!!!

A big thank you to all of our book fair volunteers!  We couldn't do this without you - YOU ROCK!!!

We had a very successful book fair - thanks to everyone who visited, shopped, and worked.  We hope to see you all again for the next fair which opens on January 30th!

Wow!  Scholastic has done it again!  You will love the great selections that are at the book fair - there is something for everyone!  Come and check us out - school days from 8 am to 4pm.  Our final day will be Wednesday, September 25th.

Hispanic Heritage Month

I had a great time at the second annual nErDcamp GA this past weekend!  I met so many authors and loved every session.   I am so glad to know they are already planning for next year!

Dot Day

We try to celebrate International Dot Day every year.  This year it was with kindergarten.  They listened to the book, The Dot, by Peter Reynolds, then created their own dots (although some chose to draw other things - it's all good!).

September Book Fair

Our first book fair of the year will open on Thursday, September 19 at 8 am.  There will be lots of great books to choose from, so plan to come and spend some time with your child perusing the selection!  We will be open 8 am to 4 pm each school day until September 25th.

We accept cash, checks (made payable to Brookwood), credit & debit cards, and have the new option of a digital payment "e-wallet."  With the e-wallet, parents create an account and set a spending limit.  Your card will only charged at the end of the fair for the exact amount spent (students CANNOT spend more than the limit you set!).  No more worries about lost cash or misplaced checks!!
