Summer Time - Relaxing and Reading!

It's time once again for our annual summer tradition.  Be sure and email Mrs. Wagner a picture of your child reading this summer.  We love to know WHAT you are reading and WHERE you are reading!!!  Be sure to put that info in the email so that I can include it in the caption.  (We only use first names on the Internet!)  Students who send a photo will receive a prize for the photo in August.
To come to our summer reading party, be sure and keep a list of the books you read this summer and turn it in to Mrs.Wagner in August.  If you can't find the paper we sent home - no worries - just write your list on any piece of paper and be SURE to include your first and last name. Check it Out - for Summer!

This will be the third summer that we have allowed students to checkout library books for the summer.  All we require is a good library record and a parent permission form.  Since we have to pack up the ENTIRE library before we leave for the summer (for renovations), I increased the checkout limit to 15 books.

STEM Challenges

As thoughts turn to summer, it can sometimes be hard to keep students interested.  Giving them a STEM challenge (each table had a different challenge) and a time limit to come up with a prototype solution was a hit!  I love their creativity!

3D Printing Projects

We have had a few issues with our 3D printer - still working on trying to resolve them, but here are a few pictures of some items that worked and a few that didn't!
