What we saw...

I read Dr. Seuss' first book, "And to think I Saw it on Mulberry Street" recently with Kindergartners and then students created their own "fantastical" pictures of what they saw on their way home from school this week!  I think they have great imaginations - don't you!

Our MakerSpace is Open

We now have official MakerSpace hours!  Students can come to the MakerSpace with a pass from their teacher on Monday and Tuesdays from 9:00 am to 10:30 am and from 1:00 pm to 2:15 pm.   What can students do when they are here?  Well - that's up to them.  They can solve a problem by designing a prototype and then build it, they can learn computer coding, learn about (or build with) LittleBits and squishy circuits, write and produce a movie, command our robot MIP, use the Nabi Big Tabs, or ? ? ?    This will be interesting as students are allowed to get creative individually - who knows what might be designed or what problems might be solved by our students!

What Fun!

We have had a lot of fun celebrating Dr. Seuss and Read Across America this week. Thanks to everyone who participated - and a special thank you to ALL of our wonderful guest readers! We so appreciate everyone who took time out of their day to come and read to our students.
"You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child." Dr. Seuss
Here are some of our guest readers - several were already in classrooms when I snapped this photo.

I will be adding more photos to the album as I receive them.
