Third, fourth, and fifth graders receive a sticker to place on our new "Stick Together" poster when they check out a new book and do not have any late books still out. I started this to encourage students to return books they are finished with and get a new one. So far, it seems to be helping. Students are ALWAYS welcome to renew a book if they are not finished with it and that never counts against them. Everyone is guessing what the finished product will be and how long it will take us to fill in the poster!
