Kindergarten Checks Out

It is always exciting when our kindergarten students are ready to check out their first books!  We practiced using shelf markers and choosing our books in small groups.  They did a great job!

First Day of Publication

It is always exciting to be one of the first to get a book on the day it is released!  These students ordered the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid - Wrecking Ball - at the book fair and they were delivered today!

Learning about the Solar System with AR

Second graders used Merge Cubes to explore the Solar System.  The augmented reality lets you hold the planets in your hands!

More Halloween Fun

Fourth graders practiced cutting and pasting computer skills by decorating pumpkins on Google Slides.

3D 5-0

This is the 5th year that Dalton Public Schools has hosted our own Professional Development Day.  This year it was at Dalton Middle School.  We do a great job with this (if I do say so myself!).  This year, I was stationed in the "playground," hosted two poster sessions, and taught a class on how to create your own digital breakouts.
